WAYTCo’s FREE after-school Act Belong Commit Drama Hubs are the perfect place to learn theatre skills like acting, directing, and improvisation. Classes take place in schools and community centres, and any young person interested in drama is welcome to attend – no drama experience is necessary. It’s 100% free, and 100% fun!
TEACHING ARTISTS
Our fully vetted Act Belong Commit Drama Hub teaching artists are professional actors, directors and theatre makers who work in some of the most recognised theatre companies in the country. In addition to being outstanding artists in their own right, our teaching artists love sharing what they know with young people – they are great arts educators. You can read about them here.
AGE RANGE
Act Belong Commit Drama Hubs are for students aged 11-17, or in Years 6 through to 12.
We run programs in two cohorts:
- 11-14 year olds
- 15-17 year olds
GROUP SIZE
Upper and lower group size limits are:
- Minimum = 8
- Maximum = 16
If numbers sit under the minimum requirement just prior to start of program, we may contact you to advise of program non-viability.
These age range and group size parameters help us to cater to local demand, deliver developmentally appropriate content and better manage group dynamics.
