Scripted or devised? Traditional staging or site-specific?
WA Youth Theatre Company delivers classical and contemporary scripted plays as well as original devised works. We work across genres and forms and with both small and large casts. Our productions are staged in a range of public venues, including the State Theatre Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre and Subiaco Arts Centre. We also take on commissions to bring less known public spaces to life, an aspect of our work that has gained momentum (and multiple awards) in recent years.
A refusal to limit ourselves to a single methodology is what allows WAYTCo to produce such bold and thought-provoking theatre; theatre with young people for everyone.
